Great location. Room large, clean and light. Beds comfortable. Room appearance was tired and old fashioned. Furniture and fittings old and shabby. Room servicing adequate but not thorough - i. Surfaces not wiped down. Reception staff friendly and efficient. General appearance on arrival in lobby - tatty and unpleasant odour. I realise that most of these unfavourable aspects will hopefully be rectified once the renovation is complete.
Perth is a great city to visit and the hotel location is fantastic with great views, handy to parks restaurants and small shopping strips. Highlights - King's Park and lots of other lovely parks, city beaches, ferry to city, so no parking hassles, great restaurants and small eateries, notably - The Globe, Angelo Street, Oceanus at City Beach, Bluewater Grill, Applecross.
